Collapsible kitchenware: flatpacked from Front Runner Posted on 14 March 2013 Tags:camping Space is always an issue when you’re travelling. Newly released from Front Runner, this eight-piece crockery set of collapsible kitchenware offers an alternative to bulky bowls and saves storage for the stuff that really matters. The whole collapsible kitchenware set Although the colours aren’t too exciting, the range of kitchenware solves a lot of problems for outdoor enthusiasts. The bowls, cups and tupperware are made from food-grade flexible silicone (the same stuff as those floppy baking tins) and fold into themselves creating a flat disc. They stand really well and hold food without falling over or collapsing as the silicone walls are quite thick. The set is perfect for someone on the move and fully functional when it comes to storing and holding food. The tupperwares are really nifty as they adjust to the size of your leftovers and the lid seals properly. The silicone material can withstand all kinds of abuse according to the instructions and works in the fridge, freezer, microwave and oven. You do need to be careful with your cutlery though as a slip of a knife or fork can pierce the material. Large and small mixing/serving bowls The set fits into a small mesh bag, which can also be used as an on-the-go drying rack The bundle costs R745 from Frontrunner.
